When will I hear back if I've been successful with my application?

Once you've registered for the programme, you'll receive an email confirming your place and providing everything you need to take part.

When will the programme start and do I have to complete it in one go?

You'll be able to access the programme on demand, giving you the flexibility to complete the modules at a time and place that works for you, whether that's at home, school or college. All of the content is available from the start, so you can work through it at your own pace and don't need to complete it all in one sitting. This flexibility also makes it easy for schools and colleges to use the programme as part of work experience, Futures Week, PSHE, tutor time or other group learning activities.

What does the application process involve?

Applying for a place is simple. If you're applying as an individual young person, you'll just need to provide your name and email address, create a password, confirm that you're over 13, and agree to the terms and conditions.

If I'm successful in my application, how do I access the programme?

You'll be able to access the programme from your dashboard on the day it goes live.

Do you have to want to work in financial services to take part?

The programme isn't just for young people who are interested in a career in financial services. It highlights a range of careers and pathways across our organisation, including opportunities you might not expect. We've developed it as part of our Better Futures youth employment initiative. Together, we've worked hard to make sure that while young people are learning about our organisation, they're also building valuable life skills and developing their work readiness. That means the programme is relevant to all young people, whatever their interests or future career goals.

What do you expect from participating young people and why should I take part?

We know that getting meaningful work experience isn't always easy, and we want to help. Taking part in this programme shows initiative, motivation and a willingness to learn, all qualities that employers and higher education providers value. You don't need to be the most confident person in the room or have the highest grades to take part. We simply ask that you get involved, give the activities a go and make the most of the experience. We'd strongly encourage you to complete all of the modules so you can receive a certificate of completion. Not only will this help you get the most from the programme, but it's also a great achievement to add to your CV.

Is there a cost to take part?

No, this is a completely free programme for young people, schools and colleges to take part in.
